The plus box joiner's work contains the HALDER’s “joiner’s hammer” and a contour gauge as a convenient add-on:

This SIMPLEX soft-face mallet (Art. 3117.051) comes with special D50mm inserts that are built into the D40mm housing. The oversized contact surfaces ensure that the housing of the hammer does not come into contact with the sensitive surfaces the user is working on. Equipped with the insert combination of TPE-soft (blue, soft, no marring) / superplastic (white, medium hard), the hammer does not require a striking block to complete such tasks as assembling cupboards or veneering. The blue insert even makes it possible to directly strike on the edges of workpieces without causing any damage. Delivering greater impact force, the more solid superplastic insert is also ideal for use in combination with a ripping chisel. The extra light aluminium housing with built-in handle protection sleeve allows the user to easily apply and control the right amount of impact force. It also makes the soft-face mallet a tool with minimum weight that is easy to carry along. In line with the smart SIMPLEX principle, all components are replaceable and can be retrofitted. This translates to savings in both money and resources. The included contour gauge with locking function allows the user to copy contours with ease and prevision, e.g. on door jambs or heating pipes. This tool allows for outstanding work results without scrap even on complex contours.
